Figure AI has unveiled Helix, a Vision-Language-Action (VLA) model that enables humanoid robots to interpret voice commands, process visual data, and perform household tasks with minimal training.
Helix allows robots to generalize object interactions and collaborate in real time. This breakthrough follows Figure’s split from OpenAI and growing competition from Tesla, Meta, and Google DeepMind-backed Apptronik in the humanoid robotics space.
