Qualcomm just launched the Snapdragon 8 Elite, a new mobile chip with faster custom Oryon CPUs.
It’s more powerful than last year’s version, has better graphics for gaming, and improved AI features.

World App 3.0 Launches Faster Payments and Deepfake Protection
Sam Altman and Alex Blania have renamed their biometric ID project from Worldcoin to World, focusing on secure human verification in AI.
They introduced World ID 3.0, which uses advanced tech to confirm identities without sharing personal info, and launched the World Chain mainnet to support 15 million users.
The new World App 3.0 also adds Mini Apps, allowing third-party apps to easily connect with World ID for things like payments and polls.

It includes features like World Pay for free global payments and a Vault to earn on stored assets.
Users can store World ID Credentials to verify things like age or nationality without sharing personal data.

Blade Runner 2049 Producers Take Elon Musk to Court Over AI Images
Alcon Entertainment, producers of Blade Runner 2049, is suing Elon Musk, Tesla, and Warner Bros.
Discovery for copyright infringement.
Alcon claims Musk used AI-generated imagery resembling scenes from Blade Runner 2049 to promote Tesla’s new "robotaxi" after being denied permission to use actual film visuals.
The lawsuit calls it a "malicious gambit" (a sneaky plan meant to harm or trick others for personal gain) to boost Tesla’s appeal and misappropriate the film's brand.
