NVIDIA has launched Nemotron-4 340B, a set of open models that help create synthetic data for training large language models (LLMs).

These models are free and optimized for NVIDIA NeMo and TensorRT-LLM, making it easier and cheaper to get high-quality training data.

1. Model Release: NVIDIA launched the Nemotron-4 340B model family, including Base, Instruct, and Reward models. These are open-access and free to use and modify.

2. High Performance: The models perform well on many tests and fit efficiently on an NVIDIA DGX H100 with 8 GPUs.
