Huge Data Leak: NYT's 273GB of Code Stolen
The New York Times' source code and data were stolen from their GitHub in January 2024 and leaked on 4chan.
The leak includes 273GB of IT documentation, tools, and code, accessed via an exposed GitHub token.
The Times says their internal systems and operations were not affected.

Google Improves AI to Stop Strange Answers

but Google fixed its AI Overviews feature after it gave strange and dangerous answers, like telling people to eat rocks or jump off a bridge.
Changes include better detection of silly questions and less use of user content.
Google is still working to prevent future errors.

By 2030, data centers could use over 20% of the world's electricity.
