Legal Battle Puts AI-Powered PCs at Risk
A two-year legal battle between Arm Holdings and Qualcomm threatens to disrupt the release of new AI-powered PCs from companies like Microsoft, Asus, and Dell.
The dispute is over chip designs Qualcomm got from Nuvia, a startup by ex-Apple engineers.
Arm claims these designs violate its patents.
If Arm wins, it could stop shipments of these new devices.

AI Agents Team Up to Hack Smarter
Researchers at the University of Illinois created a new AI system called HPTSA that can find and exploit zero-day vulnerabilities in computer systems.
HPTSA, which stands for Hierarchical Planning and Task-Specific Agents, uses a main planning agent to manage smaller agents, making it better at discovering and attacking weak spots.
Tested on 15 real-world vulnerabilities, HPTSA performed up to 4.5 times better than older methods.
