MIT and NVIDIA develop HART: a faster, smarter AI image generator
MIT and NVIDIA researchers created HART (Hybrid Autoregressive Transformer), a new AI tool that generates high-quality images up to 9x faster than current models.
HART combines fast autoregressive models with accurate diffusion models to deliver detailed images using less power and can even run on laptops or smartphones.

Merges two AI methods: autoregressive (speed) + diffusion (detail)
Produces images 9x faster than standard diffusion models
